Managed configurations
Managed Configurations allows to manage and customize apps parameters an settings.
App must support this kind of technology.
Examples of configurations are:
- Set and restrict Chrome (disable incognito, history, printing...)
- Set automatically automaticamente l'account email con l'app Gmail
- Set VPN connection params
- Set OEMConfig configurations of device's manufacturers
- Set security options for Antivirus and Threat Management apps
- Restrict domains for work apps
Some apps can report feedbacks of the application state of managed config, these are shown into the activity log of the single device.
Some fields support Wildcard variables.
Android
To manage Android configurations:
- open or create a rule
- select Android tab if necessary
- add an Android app if it is not in the list
- click on gear button of the specific app
- select MANGED CONFIGURATIONS tab (not shown if app does not support them)

Apple
To manage Apple configurations:
- open or create a rule
- select Apple tab if necessary
- add an Apple app if it is not in the list
- click on gear button of the specific app
- in General tab set action "Managed"
- on PLIST tab upload a plist with configurations, params are reported on developer site
- on ATTRIBUTES tab, Configure to specify additional app settings
